Awoman has been arrested after she allegedly left the scene of a crash resulting in a car and paddock fire in Millicent on Friday afternoon.

Just before 1pm police and emergency services attended a single vehicle rollover on Wyrie Road.

A Holden Astra sedan left the road out of control and coming to rest on its roof in a roadside ditch.

She was charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving in a manner dangerous, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving unlicenced and bearing unassigned number plates.

She was bailed to appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court on May 11.

Investigations are continuing and police are seeking witnesses to the Holden Astra being driven before the crash.

If anyone has information that may assist they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
