As Round 1 has been run and won we now shift our focus to round 2 of the 2022 Mount Gambier Netball Association season.

The focus game for this Saturday’s round is the A Grade game between Zodiacs and Vicis.

Zodiacs lost a nail-biting game 34-32 against Saints last week while Vicis had a bye for the starting round of the highly anticipated return of the season.

Zodiacs fought throughout the game last week against Saints in a high standard match which was even mentioned during the game between Intruders and Hobitz.

Vicis having the bye for the upcoming round makes the game for this week a mystery, but also anticipated for the fans of the club and how it may play out against the two.

Neither teams made the finals or the big dance last year but as the 2022 season begins, something new may be flying in the air for two underdog teams.

Both teams have been training hard in readiness for the showdown on Saturday afternoon.

This will be the game to watch as both teams have new attitudes, spirits, but also the fierceness and competitiveness they need.

The game will start at 2:45pm on Court 1 at Olympic Park.
