Kingston car crash claims life

Aman was killed in a single car crash near Reedy Creek, 40km south of Kingston, on the weekend.

Just after 11.30am on Saturday police patrols and emergency crews were called to the Princes Highway, 500m south of Bowaka Road, after a Toyota utility was found in a drain off the highway.

The driver and sole occupant, a 32-year-old man from Reedy Creek, sadly died at the scene.

The Princes Highway was closed between Avenue Range Road and Koonetta Road while Major Crash investigators attended the scene.

The man’s death was the 24th life lost on our roads this year as compared to 10 for this time last year.
