Turbine glows up

Asingle wind turbine will be bathed in blue light on Saturday near Lake Bonney in a moving silent tribute to suicide awareness and mental health.

A special filter will be used to illuminate the structure with the public welcome to witness it in the early evening. They are asked to gather at Lakeview Road, German Flat. Hot soup and a coffee van will be available.

The promotion has been done before and has the backing of the Wattle Range Suicide Prevention Network.
