Wattle Range Councl Mayor Des Noll is cutting ties with another peak regional body.


Mayor Noll resigned from the board of the Limestone Coast Local Government Association in May.


He has now told the July monthly council meeting that he would not be seeking a further two years on the South Australian Regional Organisation of Councils when his term expires in October.


He said Wattle Range Council had other ways of lobbying and advocacy.


“SAROC is a waste of time and money,” Mayor Noll said.
