Community landscape roles open

Applications have opened for community members to join the Limestone Coast Landscape Board.

The call has gone out for people who are passionate about leading our community and future generations to sustainably manage our region’s landscapes.

Limestone Coast Landscape Board chair Dr Penny Schulz encouraged people to think about joining the group.

This is a great opportunity for people in our region to join our local board – working together with community and stakeholders benefits us all as we create a sustainable future,” she said.

“The board collaborates with industry, environmental groups, government organisations and local councils to implement programs and projects.

“These initiatives involve on-ground works, engaging with the community and providing grants to promote a sustainable landscape for the future.”

Applications close on August 23.
