A Mount Gambier teenager is full of beans after recently launching his coffee business.

At just 19 years old Mahsun Kemp recently launched his online coffee bean business ‘Crush Cove’, encouraging other young people to do the same.

“Taking the jump and starting Crush Cove gave me a big boost of confidence because I’m doing something I love,” Mr Kemp said.

“For any young teenagers who want to start a business, I say go for it. The feeling of accomplishment is like no other,” he said.

Mr Kemp said he has his “main supporter” the late and great Beverley Kemp to thank for encouraging him to pursue his business dream.

“I used to stay up late with Nan having chats about my future and she was always encouraging me to do something for myself instead of everyone else,” he said.

Mr Kemp has named ‘Nan’s coffee’ as a fitting tribute to Mrs Kemp.

“She loved coffee and it is vanilla, which was one of her favourite coffees, she loved vanilla anything,” he said.

The Mount Gambier community has also been supportive of Mr Kemp’s business.

“All my friends and family have been supporting me behind it all,” he said.

“My main goal is to get Crush Cove out there so people know what we are about.

“This has been a dream that I have wanted for so long and now I have finally taken the chance to get it done, I have never looked back.”
