The management of Boneham Aged Care Services in Millicent has paid tribute to the nine visiting Australian Defence Force personnel who have been providing nursing and other support during a time of COVID-related staff shortages.
“The wonderful army team have supported us during our COVID outbreak,” a Boneham spokesperson said.
“They were amazingly professional, courteous and totally engaged in what they were doing.
“The residents loved every minute of their support and as a surprise bonus, one of them was a wonderful pianist who provided many impromptu recitals.
“We salute you and thank you for your service.”
