The future of the world game locally will be revealed this Saturday night when the Limestone Coast Football Association’s State of the Game dinner which promises to be one of the biggest moments of the history of the sport in this region.
People from inside and outside of the local soccer world will gravitate to the Commodore Motel for the dinner where the future of the sport will be announced.
Earlier this year the LCFA started researching its Strategic Plan and the findings will be released at the dinner which includes a three-course meal.
In addition to the big announcements the CEO of Football SA, Michael Carter will be in town as a guest speaker, while Limestone Coast Sporting Academy Coordinator Tony Elletson will also be present to entertain.
LCFA CEO Chris Fleetwood said the highlight of the night will be the unveiling of the LCFA’s Strategic Plan which makes the sport’s path across the next three years clear and lays the foundations beyond that.
“It should be a great night,” he said.
“We will showcase the plan which is an imperative document in terms of where we want to go and there might be some other big announcements.
“I want to engage with as many people from the community as possible which is the way forward to grow our sport.
“I am sure it will be an entertaining evening.”
