Apocalyptic weather tests shooters

The South East Field and Game Association recently hosted a family sporting clays event.

Shooters had to deal with an “apocalyptic” weather forecast, which organisers believe may have deterred some competitors from nominating.

However the 49 who did compete enjoyed reasonable winter weather and some quality targets set by Ken Atkin and his hard working team at Burrungule Park.

Sponsors for the day were Richmond Park White Suffolk and Mulgundawa Poll Dorset, Mount Gambier Rural Supplies and Russell Industries.

Jeremy Kent shot 72/75 to claim the Dunn’s School of Shooting High Gun.
