Members of the Millicent community are backing the annual winter blanket appeal of welfare agency ac.care.

Among the contributors have been South East Property Sales and Management along with Wattle Range Mayor Des Noll. His mayoral donation of $400 to ac.care Millicent was accepted by staff member Janette Stringer from the Millicent Community Access Centre.

“As Mayor, my view is that no person in our community will be left behind,” Mr Noll said. “As a community we all have a responsibility to support those less fortunate than ourselves. “Let’s all ensure we are looking after each other. “I call on our community to support this ac. care purchase a blanket initiative.”
