Artists given gallery space

The Millicent Gallery has mounted two exhibitions to mark the annual South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival which is staged across the State each August.

The main gallery displays the talents of the 14 members of the Thumbprint Collective which is based in Mount Gambier.

Dubbed “Limestone Country”, the artworks serve as both tribute and reminder the landscapes we admire are living beings and systems shaped by time.

Each piece invites viewers to consider the delicate balance between human activity and the natural world.

Meanwhile, Gallery Two is displaying Many Variations from Childhood by Pip Textiles.
