Kongorong v Penola
Kongorong and Penola will take the field this Sunday in Hatherleigh in the final home and away round of the Limestone Coast Women’s Football League.
The Eagles have been very solid this season with only two losses to their name.
Kongorong have been a bit up and down and have struggled to develop consistency going through the season as they seem to win a game then lose the next week.
Heading into this game Penola already has their finals position locked in, with there being a small chance they move up to third.
The Eagles have found some great late season form as they are on a four-game winning streak.
They will be looking to continue that streak and take the momentum into finals.
Given how well Penola have been playing late in the season I see them coming away with the win. Millicent v Nangwarry
Millicent will take on Nangwarry this Sunday at Hatherleigh with the latter Saints looking for a touch of glory before the final siren sounds for their season.
This has not been the best season for Nangwarry as they are still searching for their first win.
Millicent on the other hand have been a bit inconsistent this season and were so close at getting win number three last week but fell apart in the fourth quarter against Penola.
A game like this will be good for Millicent to get back on track and to get some confidence heading into the finals as they are pretty much locked in to play the B finals.
One area of improvement for Millicent will be their goal kicking.
This was an area that let them down last week as they had chances to get out to a strong lead but could not come up with the major score.
Given how teams have played against Nangwarry this season I cannot see them beating Millicent in their last game of the home and away season. Mundulla v South Gambier
Mundulla will host South Gambier on Sunday in Mundulla.
Despite already locking in their spot in the top four, this is an important game for the Tigers as a win will help their chances at getting into the top four while also giving them the double chance come finals.
The Tigers will have a must win game on Sunday too as they look to hold their double chance position in the finals.
Currently sitting fifth with the same record as the sixth placed Millicent, a win will help seal their spot with the double chance.
With Millicent playing Nangwarry, a game they are favoured to win, the pressure will be on the Dees to get the win to keep their spot.
South is coming off a tough loss to Kyby last week where they had a solid first and third quarter but still struggled for most of the game.
Mundulla on the other hand should be feeling very confident after a big win over Kongorong.
With a lot on the line for both sides this should be a highly contested and competitive match. North Gambier v Kybybolite
Kybybolite and North Gambier will face off this Sunday in the top of the table clash at Mundulla.
Both sides have been very dominant all season with Kyby currently undefeated while North have only suffered one loss.
Both have been the benchmark with this match up being a potential preview of the upcoming grand final.
These sides both have talented squads that should match up really well for a competitive hit out.
The minor premiers title is also on the line this game as a loss to Kyby may drop them down to second place depending on match ratio and win percentage.
This should be a thrilling game that has a very good chance of going down to the wire as these two powerhouse teams face off.
