Big dogs reign

East Gambier has claimed back to back Globe Hotel Big Bash trophies – downing an undefeated West Gambier on Sunday.

The Doggies proved too good for Penola in the T20 semi final on Sunday morning, winning the chance to take on the Roos on Sunday afternoon.

West won the toss and opted to field, with East setting a total of 4/131 for the Roos to chase.

The tally proved too much for West, with the Roos unable to chase down the runs, finishing their 20 overs at 9/104.
