Generations in Jazz is thrilled to announce the legendary Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band will be the headlining act for this year’s festival.
Hailing all the way from America, this renowned ensemble promises to deliver an unforgettable performance that will resonate with jazz lovers and aspiring musicians alike.
This year, Generations in Jazz will welcome over 100 schools, bringing together around 5000 students who will perform in more than 350 bands and choirs from May 2-4, 2025
GIJ Music Director Jordan Murray said the festival is a vital celebration of jazz music, offering an extraordinary platform for young talent to shine and learn from some of the best in the industry.
GIJ is a non-profit organisation driven by a dedicated board and management team, all passionately committed to making Mount Gambier a world-class destination for events, jazz, and music education.
