BOOST FOR TINS IN BINS

AFTER being awarded joint Community Event of the Year for its 2024 Family Day, the Tins in Bins project has received a massive boost from friends in the city.
Turbans 4 Australia is a Sikh-led charity organisation that helps Australians in need, specialising in disaster aid and food relief and this week, sent more than a dozen pallets of food, toys, clothing, toiletry products and other essentials to Coleraine to support the work of Tins in Bins.

Vickery Bros’ Coleraine depot, which provided machinery to unload and shed space to store the donations, was a hive of activity on Saturday morning, as volunteers from relief organisations from across the district got to work unpacking the truckload of treasures, for distribution to the community.
