The Women in Business and Regional Development group has launched its Mastermind Masterclass series for 2022.
The series has been designed to offer quality development sessions from both locally recognised presenters as well as further afield, all are aimed at assisting members and the community in building their businesses and/or careers.
The masterclasses will be around 90 minutes either online or in person throughout the rest of the year, with topics based on feedback provided from members as well as some opportunities to collaborate with other organisations.
Board member Brittany Shelton said the group was “kickstarting the series with a bang”.
“June has three incredible speakers, first up on June 9 is Copywriting – The Psychology of Words, with Anita Siek of Wordfetti,” she said.
“This is an online workshop and will give you simple, instant, and actionable methods that you will immediately implement and keep in your backpack.
“We are lucky to then welcome Melissa Browne to our region on June 15, with her important Psychology of Pricing Workshop it’s both theory and practical.
“You will walk away with the tools you need to make decisions around pricing in your business as well as working on your existing pricing.”
Ms Shelton said the workshop would be held in conjunction with the Limestone Coast Women in Ag Network.
“This is a network we are excited to support, it is for women in the agriculture industry in the Limestone Coast to communicate with and support each other in both a social and a professional capacity, building strong connectedness in the region,” she said.
“We are excited to have one of our leading local accountants, Jason Seidel from Galpins, for an online workshop on ‘know your numbers’, the financial myths, tips and traps of starting and running a business.”
