Business breakfast

The Limestone Coast’s Women in Business and Regional Development group will celebrate International Women’s Day with a special breakfast function tomorrow.

While International Women’s Day was marked on Wednesday, the Mount Gambier breakfast will be held tomorrow in conjunction with the Adelaide IWD Breakfast hosted by Senator Penny Wong and in conversation with US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy.

The breakfast will be held at The Henty from 7am and will livestream the Adelaide event.

The local event will feature three guest speakers, Liz McKinnon, Rhiannon Mathers and Ebony Cunningham.

WiBRD deputy chair Brittany Shelton said the breakfast would provide an opportunity to celebrate the success of local women.

“One of our goals is celebrating the achievements of women, this aligns with our strategies,” she said.

“It is a good opportunity for us to hit that strategic goal to stop and celebrate our local women who are kicking goals.

“Our local panel is always a good opportunity for us to celebrate our local women.”
