Business women celebrated

Local women gathered at the Apple Farm on Friday to celebrate the third International Day of Rural Women.

The event, hosted by the Women in Business and Regional Development, focussed on recognising and uplifting rural and regional women, while providing an opportunity to come together and celebrate their stories.

Guest speakers at the event included Robyn Verrall, the award winner of the 2022 SA Agricultures Rural Women’s Award and Sarah Hope, an artist, interior stylist and decorator and published author who released her debut novel, Canvas, in 2018.
