Cancer fundraiser hottest ticket in town

The Millicent Cancer Support Group has once again attracted a capacity gathering to its biennial major fundraiser.

All 125 tickets for the Girls Day Out event at the Somerset Hotel on November 16 were sold within a few days.

The 2024 theme is “a touch of glitter and sparkle”.

As before, there will be raffles while the charity auction will be conducted by local real estate agent Fiona Telfer.

Established over 30 years ago, the Millicent Cancer Support Group raises funds for cancer research, equipment for the Millicent and Mount Gambier hospitals and to fit out rooms at the Greenhill Lodge patient accommodation venue in inner Adelaide.
