Local and visiting singers and musicians share top billing when Carols in the Shearing Shed is staged at Millicent on December 15.
The visitors include Alison Newman, Emma and Ruby Anderson and David and Dawn Smith while the locals are Jack Lane, Allan Webster and Mel Snook.
5THE FM is in charge of the presentation of the yearly community function in 2024.
Community radio station board chairman David Walshaw said planning was falling into place.
Mr Walshaw said the Millicent Choral Society has accepted the invitation to sing.
He said Tim Whennan would again take responsibility for the sound, lighting and other technical aspects
“I have spoken to Wattle Range Mayor Des Noll about a Christmas message,” Mr Walshaw said.
“It is good to have the radio station backing this event.”
Last used at the Millicent Show, the barren surroundings of the Millicent Showgrounds shearing shed will undergo a transformation as hundreds of revellers of all ages come together for two hours.
Traditional Christmas carols will be sung with great gusto from 7.30pm.
In years gone by, funds have been generated for various local charities with the 2024 beneficiary being the Millicent Cancer Support Group.
