The Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce hosted its first Mix and Mingle evening for 2021. The event was held at Jens Town Hall Hotel as an opportunity for chamber members to have an open and free discussion with the board regarding the current business climate.
Board vice president Venny Langlands said the night was a great success, with a wide range of local business members attending. “It’s networking opportunities like these that help keep our business community strong, vibrant and united,” she said.
“It was great to see so many local business people come together to discuss how we can make our great city even brighter.” Ms Langlands said the year was already shaping up to be a great success, with new ventures planned.
“As a board, we have been collaborating with Women in Business Regional Development and working towards a possible joint awards event, to be held in the next 12 months,” she said. “We are also working on the ‘Big Small Support Us All’ project, which is very exciting for local businesses.”
