Volunteers are being sought for ac.care’s Millicent Community Centre.

The charity is looking for volunteers keen to help vulnerable people in the 
community.

An ac.care spokesperson said the group had recently issued a call for volunteers, with some success.

“Our recent call for volunteers helped attract some added assistance for our services in Mount Gambier, but we still need a hand in Millicent with a range of duties,” they said.

“You can increase our impact by becoming a volunteer at ac.care’s Millicent Community Centre.

“ac.care is the lead agency for homelessness services across the region and delivers many other support and emergency relief programs to ensure country people have safe homes, enough money to live on and strong, positive relationships.

“If you would like to help out, we would love to hear from you.”

The charity needs support at the Millicent Community Centre with services, distributing emergency relief, collecting, preparing and maintaining food supplies as well as with general administration duties.
