Aprivate firm is looking to build a new childcare centre on vacant land in Mount Gambier.
The facility has been proposed for the corner of Commercial Street East and Crouch Street South which formerly housed a service station.
Trading ceased at this site a few years ago, it was cleared and came on to the market.
Meanwhile, Plan SA’s latest register shows a variety of building activity across the region.
Planning permission has recently been sought for converting the Mount Schank hall into a residence, establishing a solar energy storage battery at Worrolong and building a storage shed and truck parking at the Borg timber mill on Jubilee Highway West at Mount Gambier.
