City froths over first beer and BBQ festival

Thousands of people flocked to Mount Gambier’s Rail Lands on the weekend as the city hosted its inaugural South East Beer and barbecue Fest.

A mix of local artists including Stokes, Sexy-As-Shit, Stephen Esnouf and Kane Stuckey took to the stage with big name bands Regurgitator, The Smith Street Band and Bad Dreems.

Several local breweries also showcased their craft beers, with Limestone Coast producers providing a range of food during the two day event.

Those attending braved sweltering conditions to enjoy the event, which was well received by attendees.
