Shearing has been in full swing at the vast Conmurra Station located between Millicent and Kingston.

A team of shearers, shed hands and wool classers have been busy as thousands of sheep were shorn.

Measuring over 10,000 acres, Conmurra Station was bought by family company A.J. and P.A. McBride Pty Ltd in 1934 and its other local holdings include the Konetta and Ashmore stations.

Member for MacKillop Nick McBride sits on the board of A.J. and P.A. McBride Pty Ltd and is also the on-site property manager of Conmurra Station.

He faces the voters on March 19 as he is seeking a second term in office.
