Club goes into bat for family

The Glencoe Football Club Charity T20 Cricket Match is coming up fast and will be held on Sunday from 1pm.


All funds raised on the day will be provided to the Mitchell family to assist with the costs associated with Jack’s fight with Leukaemia.


All players have an association with the Murphies as either footballers or cricketers or both.


Bar and food facilities will be available and there will be auctions and other money raising events throughout the day.


It is one of three local charity cricket matches within the space of a month.


Mount Burr is hosting the annual Bryce Pollard Memorial cricket match on January 26.


Pink Stumps Day will be staged by the Millicent Cricket Club at Norm Facey Oval in Millicent on February 8.
