Coastal honours

The Robe District Council has congratulated the 2025 Australia Day Award recipients who have made exceptional contributions to the local community.


The Young Citizen of the Year is Georgie Wirth, the Community Event of the Year is the SA Rural Women’s Gathering at Robe and the Mayor’s Award went to Richie White.


The Australia Day Celebrations will be held on January 26 at the Robe Institute Lawns.


A free breakfast will be served by the Robe Lions Club from 8am and there will be live music from entertainer Shaun Brown.


The official ceremony and Citizen of the Year Awards presentation begin at 9am.
