Community garden reopens

The Millicent Community Garden has recently reopened after significant redevelopment.

Membership of the Fifth Street facility is open to all in the community.

There are shared community plots to plant, in cooperation with other members, and private plots available for lease.

Garden membership is $30 per year and the membership fee covers insurances, garden events, tool use, area maintenance and the support of the adjacent Millicent Men’s Shed’s extensive workshop.

Membership can be applied for at the Men’s Shed during the open hours – 10am to 2pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The garden will be accessible to members every day, during daylight hours.
