Millicent identity Marg Chapple is moving into semi-retirement.
Originally from Jamestown, Ms Chapple has lived in Millicent for around 30 years having moved here with her policeman husband Steve and their sons Bradley and Nathan.
She has been an active community member in all that time and held leadership roles with the Wattle Range Suicide Prevention Network and the Millicent Business Community Association.
“I would like to let everyone know that my Alternate Life health and wellbeing centre in George Street will be closing on September 27 unless sold beforehand,” Ms Chapple said in a social media post.
“It is time for me to make some changes.
“For 22 years I have loved what I have created and I am extremely grateful for all the support I have received in that time.
“It is now time to let go and have some time for me.
“The good news is I will still be doing some therapy and hairdressing.”
Her husband retired from Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast recently but continues with his photography business.
There is change aplenty in George Street at present with new owners of a café, hairdressing and beauty salon and hotel.
A former legal office is being modified to create additional retail space while a furniture shop has opened its doors.
