Council structure locked in

All the paperwork has now been completed and the current structure of Wattle Range Council will remain unchanged for at least another five years.

The council reviewed its composition and elector representation arrangements in 2021 and Electoral Commissioner Nick Sherry has recently certified the review undertaken by it satisfies the requirements of Section 12 of the Local Government Act.

The principal member of council shall continue to be a Mayor elected by the community and the council area will be divided into four wards, as per the current ward structure.
