Council takes meeting behind closed doors

The Robe District Council met for almost three hours for its last monthly meeting and around two thirds of the time was spent on confidential talks.

Council spent the private time considering legal advice and other matters relating to the lease of berths at the Lake Butler Marina.

In accordance with the Robe District Council’s Code of Practice for Meeting Procedures, the Mayor closed the meeting at 9.15pm, with all remaining agenda items to be considered at the next monthly council meeting.

It will be held on November 13 at 6.30pm at the Mount Benson Hall on the Southern Ports Highway.
