Country championships leaders chosen

The faces set to lead the Mid South East Netball Association at the 2021 Country Championships were announced recently and they are ready to take on the challenge head on.

No less than four coaches have been named to guide the MSENA Seniors, 17, 15 and 13 and Under sides into battle in the state’s largest netball event. Kalangadoo’s Abbey Duncan will be at the helm of the Seniors’ side.

Duncan coached with Toni Gilmore in 2019 and is also a past premiership player and coach with Magpies. The 17 and Under outfit will be coached by Narelle Ryan. Ryan has played hundreds of games for the Kalangadoo Netball Club and coached for many years.

Pauline Mulraney has accepted the coaching duties for the 15 and Under team. Mulraney is a familiar face to the Mid South Eastern community and has coached extensively and across many grades.

She is a premiership player and coach at club and country championship level.

The 13 and Under coach is Leah Puiatti. The Mid SE has been fortunate to have someone of Puiatti’s calibre coach the 13’s over numerous years. She is a past premiership coach and player for Mount Burr.
