Country music returns to Millicent

Country music fans are in for a treat on June 3 when Millicent entertainer Allan Webster shares the bill with Victorian singer/songwriter Ian “Bidge” Boyd. To be held at the Millicent United Soccer Club, the performers will be presenting Morning Melodies at the McLaughlin Park venue.

The concert marks a return to performing in Millicent for Mr Webster after the disruption caused by the COVID pandemic as well as the closure of his past regular performing venue the Millicent and District Community Club.

The duo regularly presents concerts to enthusiastic audiences and the strong bond between the pair is also seen at charity events. For example, “Bidge” has organised Good Friday Appeal concerts on the back of a truck on the banks of Lake Purrembete in Victoria to benefit the Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital.
