COWBOY UP!

IT WAS the cowboys’ turn to have the upper hand at Saturday night’s Dartmoor Chute Out Rodeo, with Layne Hetherton keeping his seat for eight seconds and taking out the $2500 Open Bull Ride.
Another massive crowd turned out to support the Dartmoor Football Netball Club in its major annual fundraiser and was not disappointed, with plenty of thrills, spills and some exceptional rides.

Running some of the best rough stock in the country, Woodall Rodeo promotions presents a tough line of bulls and broncs for the cowboys every year and this year was no different, with scores tough to come by across all divisions.

Around the barrels, Cindy Marsh and Sue took home the prize money, with a time of 13.101 seconds – just over half a second ahead of Julie Breed and Catman.

Brianna Jones and Mon were the quickest in the juniors with a time of 13.66, taking the title ahead of Lauren Baldacchino and Kuhla.
