The Dukes Highway was closed for several hours on Saturday after two crashes in the one locations.
About 2.30am police and emergency services were called to a section of the highway at Wolseley after reports that a B-Double had rolled over.
On arrival they located the truck and saw that it had rolled onto its side blocking both east and west bound lanes of traffic.
The 25-year-old driver from Gilles Plains was stuck inside the cabin but was eventually extricated by police.
Thankfully he only suffered minor injuries and was conveyed to the Bordertown Hospital for treatment.
Just after 5am, while police and emergency services were still at the scene of the crash at Wolseley and performing traffic control duties, a Kia station wagon approached a road closure point, disregarded directions given to them and proceeded to drive into the restricted area.
Subsequently due to the rolled truck still blocking both lanes, the Kia crashed into the truck.
The driver was treated for minor injuries and was also conveyed to the Bordertown Hospital for treatment.
The crashes are both still under investigation.
If anyone witnessed the truck rollover they are asked to contact crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
