Creative rockers get back on track

After a series of ill-timed COVID-19 interventions, George Glass are coming to the South East with Art Attack.

The band includes former Millicent resident Pud Hamilton, Nic Conway, Ali McMichael and Chris Nenov.

Together they form an alternative art-rock band who throw in a heavy splash of theatrics to their stages shows.

“After lockdowns, and restrictions we think it’s more important than ever to bring community and arts events to the regions,” Mr Conway said.

“COVID has disrupted all our plans and we want to bring a night out that everyone can enjoy.

Guitarist Mr Hamilton said Art Attack would be a night of music and laughter where the audience was invited to paint a giant canvas to the music.

“We have had so much fun on our tour through KI, Port Lincoln and Whyalla before lockdown and we’re looking forward to bringing the shows to Mount Gambier and my home of Millicent,” he said.

George Glass will be supported by local act In The Kitchen in Millicent and will have local artist April Hague helping out in Mount Gambier.

You can catch them in Millicent on September 17 at the Civic and Arts Centre and in Mount Gambier on September 18 at The Limestone Coast Pantry.
