Crews called to hay blaze at Maaoupe

Emergency services crews were called to a hay stack fire near Maaoupe yesterday.


Four fire trucks were supported by farm fire units, water tankers and heavy machinery to extinguish the fire.


The blaze caused a significant amount of smoke in the surrounding areas and could be seen from the Riddoch Highway.
