Cyclist hurt in collision

Emergency services were called to Mount Gambier’s Crater Lakes precinct on Saturday morning following a collision.

Police, MFS, CFS, SES and SA Ambulance Service crews were tasked to the Lions lookout on Elliott Drive after reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a pedestrian.

The cyclist, a 47-year-old man from Mount Gambier, was taken to the Mount Gambier Hospital and then flown to Flinders Medical Centre where he is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The pedestrian, a 12-year-old boy from Hackham West, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
