DANCE PARTY DELIGHT

Asea of orange washed through Mount Gambier on Friday, as popular children’s entertainer Emma Memma hit town.

The Wehl Street Theatre was filled with excited tiny tots and their parents for Emma Memma’s Dance Island Party’s three concerts.

While the performance was exceptionally popular with the concertgoers, there was a special Mount Gambier connection in the room, with the ladies from the Blue Lake city’s Sticky Little Fingers on hand to celebrate the occasion.

Helen and Meg from Sticky Little Fingers created some custom outfits using Emma Memma fabric from Spotlight for Emma’s Mount Gambier-based cousins – with their creations going viral and orders flowing in from across Australia.

The mother and daughter duo were thrilled to see the room filled with their orders, as well as having the opportunity to meet Emma.

“We were so excited to chat with Emma and her family after the show and it’s very humbling to think that magic order from Monique got the ball rolling for Emma to come to Mount Gambier and meet us,” they said.

“Emma is a beautiful, very giving person.”
