Dennis down in the dumps

Wattle Range Council elected member Dennis Muhovics received serious injuries after he fell from a ladder at his Millicent workplace on Friday.

An ambulance was called at 11.50am to the North Terrace premises and transported the electrician to Mount Gambier Hospital.

He was admitted to its High Dependency Unit where it was determined he had sustained multiple fractures and a small brain bleed.

After three nights in hospital, Cr Muhovics was discharged yesterday (Monday) and is recovering at home.

He told The SE Voice that he had received excellent care at the hospital.

“I have a couple of black eyes and some headaches,” he said.

Cr Muhovics has served for 10 years on Wattle Range Council, is vice-president of the Mid South Eastern Football League and is a former deputy chairman of the board of management of Boneham Aged Care Services.
