Aman has been reported for drink driving after returning a reading of more than seven times the legal limit at Naracoorte.
About 2pm last Wednesday a concerned member of the public contacted police after observing the driver pull up in the car park of a business in Naracoorte.
Police attended and breath tested the driver, who returned a positive result of 0.387.
He was subsequently conveyed to Mount Gambier Hospital for a medical assessment.
The driver, a 46-year-old man from Naracoorte, was charged with drink driving and driving while unlicensed.
He was summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
The driver’s car has been impounded for 28 days and he has been issued with an immediate loss of license for 12 months.
