TAFE SA courses will appear alongside university study for the first time in this year’s South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) Guide.
South Australia’s senior secondary school students making decisions about further education and training will be able to see a full range of options in this year’s SATAC Guide, with TAFE SA courses listed alongside university courses for the first time.
This is critical to ensure students have a range of options when it comes to leaving school – and options that are accredited and provide meaningful opportunities.
TAFE SA delivers a wide range of education and training programs in fields as diverse as Cyber Security, Software Development, Hospitality, Nursing and Engineering at locations across the state.
These are critically important career paths and will serve our economy now and well into future.
There are a range of jobs waiting for people if they have the right training, and the South Australian Government is committed to developing a skilled workforce that contributes to the state’s economic growth and longevity.
More than 30,000 copies of the SATAC Guide are due to be distributed to schools and prospective students by SATAC this month, as high school students across the state begin their career counselling sessions for 2023.
More than 10,000 copies of TAFE SA’s 2023 Course Guide have also been ordered by schools and will be distributed by SATAC.
In another plus for students and career counsellors, TAFE SA courses have now also been included in the course search function on the SATAC website.
