Encore fashion showcase

Some of the unique garments from a fashion parade in Millicent are having an encore viewing.

The inaugural Millicent MET Wearable Art Competition was held in 2023 at the Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts Centre as a fundraiser for the Imagine Millicent community arts group.

The fashion parade carried an admission price of $25-per-head and was well supported and attended.

With another MET Gala scheduled for later this year, it was considered timely to display some originals in Gallery Two at the Millicent Public Library.

The first MET Gala received a $3000 grant from Wattle Range Council

It was one of eight activities to receive seed funding from the council in 2022/23.
