Round four of Fast4 Tennis was on show again last week with plenty of laughs going on around the Olympic Park venue.
Ladder leaders Mount Schank continued to dominate proceedings, with another comfortable win, this time over Court Jesters 5-21 to 1-13.
There were a few close battles that fell the way of the Schank, but overall they were just too strong on the night.
Sophie Boston was out of the Schank’s team this week, but a more than capable Cody Hood came in to fill her spot.
Will Boston and Hood went undefeated for the night in what was a great team performance, especially given the Court Jesters are certainly no mugs on the court.
The Violet Crumbles moved up to second on the ladder after a great performance against a young Mil Lel White team, taking the win 5-23 to 1-9.
Mil Lel’s Jess Douglas put in another solid performance, securing their only set of the night, and going down in another close contest 2-4 when partnering up with Lochie Arnold.
William LeCornu and fill-in Ben Kerin both dominated for the winners, showing they will both be hard to beat this season.
Double Dutch celebrated their first success of the season.
With a couple of handy fill-ins, Dane Heemskerk and Andrew van den Hurk, they joined newcomers Haylie Gregor and Ashlee Kalantarian in securing their first win against Mil Lel Green 4-21 to 2-15.
CJ Arnold tried hard for Mil Lel, taking the two sets off Double Dutch, but it was great overall performance from Double Dutch that gave them their success.
In the last match, Too Cole for School defeated Suttontown 5-23 to 1-11.
Despite the score line, there was some great tennis being played, and Suttontown should not be disappointed with their efforts.
Division 1 player Mark Heemskerk came in to help Too Cole for School get over the line, and Eliza Cole also went undefeated on the night.
Suttontown will bounce back with a solid performance.
