Faulty panel sparks small fire

The CFS despatched three fire appliances to a minor blaze at a shopping complex in Millicent on Monday morning.

The alarm was raised at 10.35am and fire was contained to a faulty roof-top solar panel above the shops attached to Foster’s Foodland in Kentish Place.

Police said there were no injuries and the damage was restricted to the solar panel.
