Festive tradition continues

Apre-Christmas tradition will continue in Millicent on December 15 when members of the Millicent Choral Society present a carols concert.

The performance will be held at 2pm at the hall of the Millicent Uniting Church.

It is their first singing engagement at that venue since it was damaged by fire in 2022.

The tone of the concert is informal and billed as “Coffee, Cookies and Carols”.

There will be some opportunities for the audience to sing along to seasonal favourites.

The admission fee is $15 and proceeds will go to the Millicent Combined Churches Christmas Hamper Appeal.

That night, the Millicent Choral Society will continue its long association with the Carols in the Millicent Showgrounds Shearing Shed.

These events are part of a busy year for the singing group which began 50 years ago in 1974.
