The Mid South East Netball Association will kick off its round two action with a series of fierce contests.
Kalangadoo will host Robe, while Mount Burr will travel to Hatherleigh, Port MacDonnell will be home to Kongorong and Tantanoola will host Nangwarry.
Kalangadoo v Robe
Kalangadoo will host the battle of the birds when Robe comes to play on Saturday.
The reigning premiers kickstarted their season with a win, proving too strong for Mount Burr with a 28 goal win.
The Pies side remains largely unchanged, with the only addition being youngster Shayden Russell.
Robe will be looking for their first win of the season, albeit against the reigning premiers, after the Roosters went down 36-51 to Glencoe in round one.
The seasiders have several new players, with Emma Grant, Halle Carter and Alex Neale joining the senior side, which has lost Sophie Bates, Lucy Perkins and Alannah Jennings.
Kalangadoo will look to continue their winning ways, as their settled side should prove too strong for the visitors.
Hatherleigh v Mount Burr
Mount Burr will be looking for their first win of the season, after going down 35-63 to reigning premiers Kalangadoo last week.
The Eagles are set for another tough match on Saturday, after defeating Kongorong 47-38 last week.
Hatherleigh has kickstarted the 2025 season with some fresh faces, with almost half the team being new to A Grade.
Mount Burr will be keen to test their new look side against Hatherleigh, with the Mozzies taking to the court without Abbey Falting, Madi Haggett and Megan Thiele.
However the Burr has injected some young faces to its side.
This match really could go either way, given the new combinations of both sides, however on paper the Eagles should win.
Port MacDonnell v Kongorong
Last week Port MacDonnell travelled to Nangwarry where they proved too strong for the Saints, winning 61-26.
Kongorong has shown their intent this season, after taking it up to a tough Hatherleigh outfit in round one, only losing by nine.
The Hawks demonstrated the strength of their new solid foundation, combining fresh speed and athleticism along with the steady experience of Evie Sealey, Emily Lightbody and Rach Perry.
The Bay has also received a youthful injection through the Lewis sisters Sophie and Bailee, who can run all day.
While Port Mac should take the win, Kongorong is shaping up to be a contender this season.
Tantanoola v Nangwarry
Tantanoola will be looking to kickstart their 2025 campaign against the Saints, after the Tigers had the bye in round one.
Tant will introduce its new look side this week, with Elly Redden and Megan Pettit set to take the court while the club awaits the arrival of Keryl Ousey.
The Tigers A Grade side has also bid farewell to familiar faces Emma Gould (injury), Kate Bromley (A Res) and Kate Varcoe (B Grade).
Opponents Nangwarry last week suffered a solid defeat at the hands of Port MacDonnell, going down 26-61.
However the Saints’ new line up and coach showed renewed determination, and will only improve as the team continues to gel.
While we have not seen Tant’s form on court as yet this year, on paper they should easily account for Nangwarry.
Glencoe has the bye.
