The State Government has yet to state the final cost estimates of the Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre which is currently under construction in Mount Gambier.
Independent Member for Mount Gambier Troy Bell recently posed questions in State Parliament to Regional Development Minister Clare Scriven.
“Is the minister able to detail the final cost estimates for the Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre in Mount Gambier, including all costs pertaining to the project, such as landscaping, electricity, infrastructure and furnishings?” Mr Bell asked.
He also asked whether the State Government’s $10m contribution had yet been paid to the Mount Gambier City Council.
In reply, Minister Scriven described Wulanda as an important project but said the information sought by Mr Bell was not immediately at hand.
She said the questions would be taken on notice.
