13 & Under – Tantanoola v Nangwarry

The opening quarter was evenly contested, with both sides applying relentless defensive pressure.
Port MacDonnell held their composure in attack, as Chloe Day and Bailee Lewis shot with great accuracy, helping their side to a 15-11 lead at the first break.
Momentum shifted dramatically in the second term.
Hatherleigh tightened their defensive structures through Hannah and Olivia Bellinger, who forced multiple turnovers in the goal circle and midcourt.
At the other end, Kali Nettle and Chloe Bellinger converted with precision, guiding the Eagles to a dominant 19-8 quarter.
That surge saw Hatherleigh hit the main break with a 30-23 advantage.
The Demons rallied in the third, matching their opponents with strong drives into attack and a steadier finish in the circle.

The Tigers’ consistency saw them run out 47-32 winners in a well-rounded performance.
Brooklyn Jones and Deanne Spencer were best on court for Port MacDonnell, while for Tantanoola it was Hijisa Hale and Lauren Newman.
B Grade – Robe v Tantanoola
Tantanoola recorded a hard-fought 48-39 victory over Robe in B Grade, with both sides producing periods of strong play before the Tigers pulled away late.
The opening term was evenly matched, though Tantanoola settled slightly quicker in attack.
With Kate Varcoe providing a strong target in the goal circle, the Tigers edged ahead 14-11 at quarter time.
Robe responded in the second quarter with tight defensive pressure across the court.
Madi Wirth was solid in defence, while Emilee Sawyer drove strongly through the midcourt, creating turnovers and feeding her goalies with precision.
The Roosters made full use of their opportunities, outscoring Tantanoola 12-10 to level the scores at 23-23 by half time.
